Help keep the next step within reach.
24-Month Post-Residential Engagement Initiative
Cornerstone Challenge Foundation is developing a 24-month alumni engagement initiative to help at-risk youth and young adults stay connected to employment, education, training, and practical support after graduation.
The proposed pilot would initially serve New Mexico Job ChalleNGe graduates, giving participants responsibility for keeping their information current while creating regular opportunities to ask for help and reconnect with resources.
Enrollment is not open. Launch requires funding, board approval, program coordination, and participant-consent procedures. Final terms will be shared before enrollment.
Truthful updates can qualify whether someone is working, studying, training, serving, seeking work, or asking for help. A positive outcome is not required. These are participation incentives—not wages or tuition scholarships. Assistance is not conditional on earning an incentive.
Maximum incentive opportunity per participant across 24 months.
Up to 24 monthly updates = $360. Earned monthly incentives would be paid quarterly—up to $45 per quarter, plus an earned milestone bonus when due.
Month 12: at least 10 completed updates during participation months 1–12. Month 24: at least 10 during months 13–24. Each period is evaluated separately from enrollment, not by calendar year.
01 ENROLL after funding and approvals are in place.
02 UPDATE through an approved channel each month.
03 REVIEW completion and record earned incentives.
04 RECEIVE earned incentives quarterly.
05 RECONNECT with referrals and support for 24 months.
Your support can fund the incentive opportunity that encourages a graduate to keep the connection open. An update can reveal a need and create an opportunity to connect someone with employment, education, training, or community resources.
$460 — 1 graduate • $2,300 — 5 graduates • $4,600 — 10 graduates
$6,900 — 15 graduates • $13,800 — 30 graduates • $18,400 — 40 graduates
Each amount covers the stated graduates’ maximum incentive opportunities for the full 24 months—not one year.
Planning targets, not money already raised. Actual payments depend on qualifying participation; jobs, school completion, response rates, and outcomes are not guaranteed.
These funding amounts cover participant incentives only. Technology, administration, payment-processing costs, and other operating expenses are outside this incentive budget.
General donations are not automatically earmarked for this fund. Please discuss an intended sponsorship or designation with us before giving.
Existing alumni stories reflect earlier Cornerstone work—not results of this proposed pilot.
Open a question below to see the proposed terms. “At-risk” describes barriers and circumstances—not a young person’s value, potential, or personal history.
This is a proposed Cornerstone Challenge Foundation initiative. Launch is subject to funding, board approval, and the necessary program coordination and participant-consent procedures. Participation and incentive terms will be finalized before enrollment opens.
The proposed pilot would initially serve New Mexico Job ChalleNGe graduates. Final eligibility, capacity, qualifying-update requirements, and consent procedures will be set before enrollment. Cornerstone’s broader programs also support alumni and young people from other opportunity-youth programs under their own requirements.
No. Truthful reporting can qualify whether someone is working, studying, training, serving in the military, seeking work, or requesting help. A self-report does not automatically count as independently verified employment or official academy placement data.
Earned monthly incentives would be paid quarterly, up to $45 per quarter, plus any earned milestone bonus when due. Each $50 bonus requires at least 10 updates within its own 12-month participation period. The periods are evaluated separately from enrollment—not by calendar year. No particular payment provider or payment date is promised.
No. It is a proposal seeking founding support. Funding, board approval, program coordination, consent, and final terms must be in place before enrollment. It does not represent an agency endorsement, contract, or authorization from JCA, DMA, NGB, or another government agency.
Participants take responsibility for updates; Cornerstone and program staff retain their own follow-up, safeguarding, privacy, and official reporting responsibilities. Approved channels and consent procedures must be finalized first. Sponsor reporting would summarize participation, assistance requests, referrals, and incentives paid—not individual names, employer details, contact information, bank information, payment histories, or reporting status. No social-media follow, publicity consent, donor contact, or public success story is required to earn incentives. Please do not send sensitive participant records through the sponsorship email link.
The displayed amounts cover maximum participation incentives over the full 24 months only. Technology, administration, payment-processing costs, and other operating expenses are outside this budget. General donations are not automatically earmarked for this fund; discuss a sponsorship and intended designation before giving. This proposed pilot has no results to report yet.
Yes. Assistance is not conditional on earning an incentive. Requests for help can be part of a truthful update. Other assistance remains subject to its own eligibility requirements and available resources.
