From opportunity to responsibility
From opportunity to responsibility
After a difficult upbringing, Santos graduated from New Mexico Youth ChalleNGe Academy and joined the New Mexico Air National Guard. The structure of the academy and military service helped him build independence, discipline, and a direction of his own.
Leading through everyday service
Leading through everyday service
Today, he serves full time in an Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, working on aircraft while supervising and mentoring younger Airmen. That work calls for preparation, teamwork, and attention to detail—qualities he brings to his role as Cornerstone’s Vice President.
His contribution to Cornerstone
His contribution to Cornerstone
Santos offers an alumnus’s perspective on the decisions facing young people after graduation and a working leader’s appreciation for consistent follow-through. He helps guide an organization committed to removing barriers and developing the next generation of alumni leaders. His service on the board is separate from any military role and does not imply government endorsement.
