Learning to lead with accountability

As Director and Treasurer, Alesandro is being mentored in nonprofit governance, financial records, stewardship, and the responsibilities that come with board service. He is learning how careful decisions and clear documentation help an organization earn and maintain trust.

A future still taking shape

A graduate of New Mexico Youth ChalleNGe Academy, Alesandro completed his high school equivalency and became a member of the New Mexico Air National Guard. He works with Albuquerque Public Schools’ security team and is continuing college toward his goal of becoming a nuclear engineer.

Why his voice matters

Alesandro understands the transition from an academy’s structure to the choices and responsibilities of everyday life. That perspective helps keep Cornerstone’s decisions connected to the people it serves.
