Our alumni-led board guides Cornerstone’s direction and stewardship. Directors bring different experiences in service, work, and education while developing their nonprofit leadership through mentorship. Board decisions remain distinct from advice offered by organizational mentors.
Founder & President
A ChalleNGe alumnus, retired Air Force Master Sergeant, and business owner, Juan combines lived experience with systems development and practical resource management. He founded Cornerstone to remove barriers and mentor alumni into the next generation of leaders.
Vice President
A ChalleNGe alumnus and full-time Air National Guard maintenance technician, Santos brings hands-on leadership and an understanding of what a fresh start can make possible.

Alesandro brings an emerging leader’s perspective to Cornerstone’s board while building his own future in education, work, and service.
Director & Secretary
Jessica is a Youth and Job ChalleNGe alumna, plumbing apprentice, and active volunteer who is helping build Cornerstone’s next chapter.
